Christian Care Services’ mission is to provide counseling, education and other services (within the framework of a Christian worldview that does not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, national origin, or religion) to promote and enrich the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health of individuals.

Counseling and other services are provided to individuals, couples and families, in keeping with the mission statement of Christian Care Services.

Christian Care Services is located in Ellensburg, WA, and also easily serves the surrounding communities of Kittitas, Thorp, Cle Elum, Selah and Yakima. “e-Counseling” can be provided for people residing anywhere in Washington State.

Counseling services are available for individuals, couples, and family groups. Scheduled, private sessions in my office are offered, along with occasional need-based home and hospital visits, drop-in sessions in the office, and “e-Counseling” via telephone or, a HIPAA compliant telemedicine solution.

Counseling is not just for those experiencing depression, anxiety or other mental health diagnoses. I also offer counsel for spiritual issues and questions and encourage those seeking a deeper relationship with Christ.

Counseling may also benefit students with peer or cultural issues and is a great place to learn interpersonal skills such as better communication and coping with conflict.

I also provide teaching on managing household finances, stress management, time management, goal setting and self-care.

Whatever your need, even if you are not sure what that need may be, I will seek God and His wisdom with you. Treatment specialization includes:

  • Therapy for Depression and Anxiety
  • Couples Counseling
  • Family Counseling
  • Parenting Support and Education
  • Relationship Enhancement
  • Grief Counseling
  • Work and Career issues
  • Stress Management
  • Assertiveness Training
  • Conflict Resolution

Parenting is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding, opportunities we’ll receive in our lives. The old adage, “it takes a village to raise a child” is very true in order to nurture, support, and raise our children in the way God intends. For parents who need or desire an experienced mom and professional to be a part of their “village,” I offer personal, hands-on assistance, group classes, and seminars to support and educate parents and assist them in the vital roles and responsibilities that parenthood requires. (Psalm 127, Deuteronomy 6:6-9)

Support Groups
Support groups offer participants the opportunity to join together with others who share similar experiences and challenges; this connection may be very instrumental in your progress and healing in life. Support groups for Grief and Loss, Depression, Divorce Recovery, Blended Families, Spiritual Questions, Managing Stress, and more are offered; these groups are organized as the need arises. (2 Corinthians 1:4)

Hand-Holding Ministry
Need someone to be with you during an illness or hospitalization, court appearance, school meeting, stressful encounter, etc? Please call to arrange for me to be there to pray with you and offer support. (Galatians 6:2)

Getting married or thinking about it? Need an unbiased person to listen, counsel, or help you sort through the vital aspects of all that a successful marriage entails? I provide pre-marital counseling to couples considering marriage and I can also officiate your wedding!
